📍 Athirappilly Falls, Thrissur District
India's widest waterfall & Sholayar forest
Athirappilly Falls — 80 feet high, 330 feet wide — is the largest waterfall in Kerala and one of the most photographed in India. Known as the Niagara of India, it sits in the Sholayar rainforest on the Chalakudy River. The surrounding forest is home to elephants, lion-tailed macaques and hornbills.
